Metal Down Under, A History Of Australian Metal is an epic, 3 hour journey into the Australian metal scene.

Released in Australia in late August, the DVD spent 7 weeks in the Aria Charts peaking at Number 4 and has sold over 1500 units to date.

The DVD is released today (Tues, Nov 18, 2014) on iTunes and is available in the European and UK markets via Plastic Head Distribution (PHD) giving fans on the other side of the world the opportunity to gain an insight into their antipodean metal brethren.

The brainchild of lifelong metal fan and film maker Nick Calpakdjian. Nick spent two long years traveling the country interviewing the who’s who of the Australian scene.

With massive support, some crowd funding and donations, the mammoth project has finally been completed and is ready to share with Australian metal fans and people everywhere!

Written and Directed by Nick Calpakdjian, Produced by Animus Industries and with Cinematography by Adrian Price, Metal Down Under is presented as three 55 minute episodes and comes with a bunch of extras.
