After two decades the trio consisting of Mantas, Abaddon and Demolition Man release an album under the band name Venom Inc. Ave is, as one would expect, Real Black Fkin Metal! Venom MK 2 kept the flame lit after Cronos left releasing classic album such as Prime Evil, The Wastelands and Temples of Ice. Ave contains 11 belting tracks of the finest metal, Black or otherwise!
There are some tracks that have revamped riffs from yesteryear, indeed the opening track Ave Satanas, sounds like part two of In Nomine Satanas. Mantas’ unmistakable signature riffing, Demolition Mans crushing vocals and Abaddon’s hammering drums sound like they never disbanded at all. The track Dein Fleisch also has an accompanying video, which I’m sure some of you have already seen. Time To Die is another ripping track that stands out to me. The aggression unleashed on this track is beyond awesome! Evil Dead is another (of many) tracks that annihilates pretty much anything Cronos’ Venom have released in the past few years. I can definitely say that Mantas and co have raised the bar for metal in general. The trio have proven once again that they are a solid unit and that they can and will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
