Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. After quite a lengthy gap Iron Maiden have once again shown why they are arguably the best band in the world with The Book Of Souls their sixteenth album. This may very well be the most impressive album they have released to date, With an overall album length exceeding the capacity of a single disc this album has been split into two halves. Bruce Dickinson sounds amazing in fact unless you knew you would never guess he had a tumor removed from the back of his tongue.

But now the reason you actually reading this, The album itself is fantastic and just continues to show case the talents of each member of the band. Be it the drum work of Nicko McBrain, the Bass of Steve Harris, The always impressive guitar styling of Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers all topped of with Bruce Dickinson’s fantastic vocal work. The album also boasts the longest song these guys have released with “Empire Of The Clouds” coming in at an outstanding eighteen minutes long which also includes piano played by Bruce himself. With memorable melodies and sections that make just want to sing along this album is definitive proof that oh well, where ever, where ever you are, Iron Maiden’s gonna get you, no matter how far.
