Dimebag Darrell’s gravesite vandalized. Reece Eber of Nuclear Hellfrost apologizes.

A few months after the 10 year anniversary of Dime’s death, little known band ‘Nuclear Hellfrost’ took it upon themselves to vandalize his gravesite, spitting on it, stealing a pair of boots and leaving a homophobic slur written on paper. Frontman of Nuclear Hellfrost, Reece Eber, under the handle ‘crustyplague’ posted images of his ‘handywork’ alongside a message that read:

“I HATE Pantera… with a passion.”
“And so does the rest of my band. So on tour going through Texas we paid douchebag Darrell a visit, we spit on his grave, stole a pair of cowboy boots, and I wrote ‘FAG’ on his grave… I’m not a homphobe but I hope all the panturrra fans see this and shit themselves with anger… FUCK DIMEBAG, buncha racist hillbillies.”
Nuclear Hellfroft have saying “Anything having to do with grave desecration was entirely a hoax put on by our former lead singer completely disconnected from the other members of the band.”
Pantera responded via their social media accounts by saying:
“We are absolutely disgusted by this!” Pantera shared on social media. “We ask that all of you please show Dime & his grave the respect he deserves. This conduct will not be tolerated and the authorities have been notified.”

Reece Eber, stated via his social media account that the incident was “the dumbest possible delinquent act” and insisted his bandmates were not involved. “My friends and I have received death threats and multiple insults over the past day or so, I’ve made the news, and all I can say to sum it all up is I’m deeply sorry,” he said.
He also added, “The fact of the matter is I feel awful and guilty and this will stick with me forever, just like the Seinfeld guy using the N word.”Dimebag Darrell was murdered on stage in Columbus, Ohio during his new band Damageplan’s debut tour by gunman Nathan Gale. To see a man who was decent to everyone and so full of fun and life to have his grave desecrated in this way is disgusting and while no one deserves to die over such heinous acts, the long line of people looking to deliver a beatdown is most warranted. Attacking the memory of one of the biggest names in metal when they can’t even defend themselves is nothing short of completely pathetic and cowardly.
