BOUND FOR RUIN Release ‘Oblivion’ & Announce Australian Tour

Brisbane metal band BOUND FOR RUIN  have recently released their highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Oblivion’ on Friday, 27th September.

The success of the band’s debut album saw BOUND FOR RUIN land a QMusic Award nomination and exposure on Triple J, Channel V and MTV. This drove the band’s decision to once again team up with producer Adam Merker to record their second release.

BOUND FOR RUIN wanted to stay true to their metalcore roots and working with Merker allowed them to do this, while also experimenting on their original foundations by exploring a wider range of influences. The result is a more mature album that yet again displays their ability to blend aggressive riffing with melodic hooks in a much more progressive nature.

In support of the release of ‘Oblivion’, BOUND FOR RUIN will be performing with Swedish giants Soilwork and Adept before heading south along the East Coast of Australia. Upon returning to Brisbane, BOUND FOR RUIN will officially launch ‘Oblivion’ to their home town fans.
